Dotsie Czajkowsi, CRNP, RNFA
Dotsie Czajkowski MS, CRNP is an adult nurse practitioner certified in orthopedics. She has worked in the specialty of orthopedics for 30 years. Her areas of experience and expertise includes both the office practice caring for patients in the outpatient setting as well as caring for patients in the operating room as a first assistant in hip and knee replacement surgeries. Her experience is evident to those she cares for in the practice. She provides a continuity of care for our patients and is available for all concerns of pre and postoperative care.
In addition to her work at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics she is the current president of the Baltimore Chapter of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses, (NAON), a national organization which focuses on the education of nurses in all areas of orthopedic practice.
She is also plays an instrumental role in Operation Walk Maryland, a medical mission created to provide hip and knee replacements to individuals in developing countries who otherwise would have no access to such care. This organization allows individuals with crippling deformities to become productive members of society. Dotsie coordinates the many supplies that are needed to perform these many surgeries in these countries and is active in fundraising for the medical mission.
